H&D Group was not built by capital. It was built by a founder who had spent 25 years inside spinning mills, who decided it was finally time to do it his own way.
Construction begins on 60,000 sq ft of agricultural land in Nirgudi, Sindkheda, Dhule. Deepak B Girase resigns as General Manager to build H&D from scratch, entirely self-funded.
Production begins in January 2023. The unit scales to 8,000 spindles with 70 workers. H&D establishes its first commercial buyer relationships in the market.
Silvassa reaches 3 tonnes production per day. A fresh 60,000 sq ft plot is acquired next to the Dhule factory. 1,20,000 sq ft acquired at Nardana MIDC for a third unit.
Construction completed. First machines installed and commissioned with 3,000 spindles and 30 people. The Dhule unit becomes operational, focused initially on sample development.
H&D establishes Unit 02 in Naroli, Silvassa, acquiring a building and setting up 6,000 spindles in Dadra & Nagar Haveli's established synthetic yarn production zone.
DeepDiamond Industries LLP launches with 15,000 spindles in a 1,20,000 sq ft facility in Silvassa. Shree Bhoomi Mills with 21,000 automated spindles is under construction for Diwali 2026.
Deepak B Girase began his career as an electronics engineer and spent over two decades working inside some of India's top spinning firms, not in management, but on the floor. He learned erection, repair, and commissioning of spinning machinery from the inside out.
By the time he resigned his position as General Manager in 2020, he had overseen the setup of 20+ textile units. He took that knowledge and built H&D with his own land, his own funding, and a team he trained himself.
His most significant technical contribution is the DEGITEX Innovative Fancy Slub Attachment, a ring-frame attachment designed and built entirely in-house, now trademark registered under the H&D Group banner.
